The more I watch liberal women, the more I understand the Salem witch hunt.

It's obviously a joke. There is also some truth in it.

Liberal women have been acting pretty crazy lately, and some of what we have seen is pretty nuts.

On August 10, Governor Maura Healey signed a Massachusetts bill that lets a doctor end a pregnancy after 24 weeks on professional judgment alone. That is abortion up until birth. The people in the room clapped and smiled.

Massachusetts became the 10th state, plus Washington, D.C., to allow it. In 2019 Governor Andrew Cuomo signed New York's version and lit One World Trade Center pink to celebrate. When a crowd cheers a law that can stop a baby's heart in the ninth month, something is broken.

Then there is Lindsay Clancy. On January 24, 2023, the Massachusetts labor and delivery nurse strangled her three children with exercise bands after she sent her husband out for takeout. Cora was 5, Dawson was 3, and Callan was 8 months old.

This August hundreds of women in pink lined the street outside the Plymouth courthouse standing with Lindsay.

After the mistrial, a GoFundMe for her parents blew past $1.1 million from more than 34,000 donors. Three children are dead, and a crowd decided the mother is the victim.

Then Sydney Sweeney set them off again. On September 9 she dropped an ad for Novig, a sports betting site, barely dressed and covering herself with footballs and basketballs.

She says you can bet on sports with no politics.

Olympic swimmer Ariarne Titmus called it a kick in the face. British sprinter Amy Hunt went on the BBC to scold her.

They treated a betting commercial like an attack on women.

My body my rules, unless the body belongs to Sydney Sweeney. Then it is exploitation.

None of that is normal. It is the same spirit as the Salem cartoon, where accusation comes first and evidence comes last, and rage gets called virtue.
