DO NOT MARRY AN UNBELIEVER
📖 2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers…”
Marriage is a lifelong covenant. Do not enter a covenant that constantly pulls you in opposite spiritual directions.
You can love an unbeliever.
You can respect an unbeliever.
You can be kind to an unbeliever.
You can share the Gospel with an unbeliever.
But when it comes to marriage, Scripture calls believers to consider spiritual unity seriously.
Do not marry someone hoping that marriage will change them.
Do not compromise your faith because you are afraid of being alone.
Do not exchange your walk with God for a relationship that may slowly pull you away from Him.
Instead, seek God first. Pray. Wait. Discern character. Look for someone who desires to follow Christ—not merely someone who says they love you.
❤️ The right relationship should not require you to abandon your relationship with God.
DON’T JUST ASK, “DO THEY LOVE ME?”
Ask: “WILL WE WALK ...
