YOU HAD IT ALL… BUT LOST YOUR SOUL
Earthly success cannot compensate for the loss of your soul. A person may have wealth, possessions, influence, pleasure, and everything the world can offer, but none of these things can save the soul or give eternal life. What matters most is being right with God and knowing Jesus Christ as Savior.
Jesus reminds us that gaining the whole world is worthless if we lose our soul. Therefore, we should not live only for temporary treasures, but live for God and prepare for eternity.
Mark 8:36:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
Don’t spend your whole life gaining the world while neglecting your soul. The world is temporary, but eternity is forever.
