On January 24, 2023, Lindsay Clancy sent her husband Patrick out for takeout and medicine. While he was gone she strangled Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, with exercise bands in the basement of their Duxbury home.

She left the bands around their necks. Then she jumped from a second story window. Callan died three days later.

She does not deny she killed them. She was a labor and delivery nurse. She delivered other women's babies for a living.

Eleven of twelve jurors were ready deliver a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity because she was depressed. The foreperson started filling out the not guilty forms and said she was so excited.
